Abstract
Objective: Describing some related factors compliance to drug therapy on hypertensive patients. Subjec and method: 90 hypertensive patients are were treated at least 12 months. Cross sectional description. Results: Good adherence rate 7.8%, medium adherence 26.7%, poor adherence/ nonadherence 65.5%. Patients living with families related therapeutic compliance, patients living with family compliance to drug therapy are higher than patients living without family. Disease awareness is related compliance to drug therapy. Better, average perception compliance to drug therapy are higher than receive poor check. Drug dispensing is related compliance to drug therapy. Reasonable drug dispensing compliance to drug therapy are higher than unreasonable. Conclusion: The percentage compliance to drug therapy on hypertensive patients was still low. Patients complied 34.5%, non-compliance was 65.5%.
