Abstract
Objectives: Evaluation of caring for acute stroke patients at the Stroke Center of Thai Nguyen National Hospital. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 114 stroke patients, treated at Stroke Center - Thai Nguyen National Hospital. Results: The mean age of the patients was 66.77±11.89; common clinical symptoms are hemiplegia (97.4%), language disorder (88.6%); Common medical history is hypertension (81.6%), dyslipidemia (64%); Nursing care interventions are applied regularly including: pathological diet (80.7%), early rehabilitation (78.1%), position change (71.9%); There is a significant relationship between early rehabilitation exercises and stiffness of the upper and lower limbs (p<0.05). Conclusion: Nursing interventions should be initiated early in stroke patients to minimize possible sequelae.
